In today's blog, I interview a college theater worker. Personally, working in a movie theater always seemed fun to me. Still, we will find out the pros and cons and other exciting things about working and serving others in a movie theater. Today's interviewee is Raquel, a college student who works in a theater around my town. Thanks for having me here today to ask you a couple questions. To start off what made you want to work at a movie theater? It honestly sounded like fun. I guess it also looked pretty cool in movies too. Overall, I just wanted a job that seemed fun. I've made some really good friends since I started working here and it has had some fun moments. What are some fun moments you've had so far? The projector room is supposedly haunted, so sometimes we go up there and "ghost hunt." Wonder Woman Wonder Woman was a movie that projected more than just an origin story for this superhero, but rather a role model. It paved the road for the future. Girls and woman can learn from this movie and men can see that woman can be just as powerful. The captured this essence of the movie in this poster. It shows how strong and unafraid Wonder Woman is. It shares the story through the picture. Split This movie was a crazy yet interesting. The storyline was twisted, the characters were incredible and the outcome was a masterpiece. We can not forget the classic Jumanji! You know the one that gave kids nightmares with their CGI rhinos and monkeys. It's a classic tale of rebirth and love, all the while trying to beat a killer game. It was a movie that would go down for the ages. With the announcement of the sequel or remake, still not sure what it exactly is, a lot of people were kind of upset and angry. Why would anyone try to remake Jumanji? Still, that didn't stop them from having a pretty good cast. Dwayne Johnson has been expanding his acting resume. He has been starring in a few different genres that have played in his favor. Kevin Hart gave the movie spunk and ensured that the audience would be laughing. Jack Black is just Jack Black. He does his own thing. No one really knows what he might do but he does it and it's good. The movie surrounds the same concepts as the original. The X-Men storyline has been around since 2000. By making these movies, the actors and audience created a world filled with love, hate, and fear, plus really cool mutants. Sadly, the original storyline has come to a close with the death of Wolverine. They dragged out Wolverine's story quite a bit. They didn't quite express who Logan truly is and didn't show the audience more of the story. Today we will be discussing and critiquing the Wolverine storyline. When we first see Wolverine, it is not his origin story but rather a push into the mutant world but meeting Rogue and Professor's Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. This movie starts the world of superheroes. It opened questions like: How did Wolverine become who he is? Who will Jean choose? What will happen to the students? It's still the beginning of the new year, and the new releases will be coming out soon! We have been hearing about fantastic movies that are coming out in 2018 for almost a year now. Finally, we get the see and experience these extraordinary art pieces. 1. Black Panther - Release date: February 16th This movie has been in the works for a while now. We were able to experience a little bit of who the Black Panther is in Captain America: Civil War. Now we are getting a solo movie about who he is, what he stands for and how he fits into the Marvel Universe. The soundtrack for the movie was written by Kendrick Lamar, so you know you'll be downloading these tracks onto your Spotify when the credits are rolling. Also, don't forget to not leave your seats until after all the credits are through. You can't miss those extra credit scenes! 2. We've all been there before. We have the perfect movie picked out,  maybe it includes your favorite actor or actress, but we're hungry. We need something to munch on during the movie and what is better than some popcorn! Popcorn and a movie is a perfect combination. You want to make a perfect batch; nothing that can come out burnt or over-cooked. You need the recipe for the perfect batch of popcorn! Step 1: Gather your ingredients. - 3 tbsp coconut or peanut oil - 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels - 1 Tbsp of butter - Salt Step 2: Heat up the oil You are going to need to heat the oil in a thick-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Allow the oil, whether coconut or peanut, to melt completely. Step 3: Kernel times Put 3 to 4 popcorn kernels into the oil and wait for them to pop. This will allow for the pan to heat up to the ideal heat. Step 4: After kernels pop Add 1/3 cup of popcorn in the saucepan. Step 5: Cover the pot. When you cover the pot, turn the heat off. Proc
