People Who Have Revolutionized the Entertainment Industry

The entertainment industry has grown and become bigger than ever before. The visuals, the stories, and the actors have changed throughout the year, but it still holds the same truth and values of before. They want to entertain. They want to show the world visions in their head from imagination. They are sharing messages from what they came up with themselves. Portraying what you see in your head can be hard, but with the right team, you can accomplish anything. Throughout the years, the visioners of the movies have changed, but they all have a common gift; they can bring a story to life. Directors are the visionaries of the movie business and will bring characters and stories to life on the big screen. There are a few that stick out from the crowd with their creativity and visions.

To start off, we need to go back. Starting in black and white, we have Alfred Hitchcock. This storyteller was able to come up with original ideas, storylines, and characters. He specialized in suspense movies which are entirely different than the ones we have today. He didn't have any specialized equipment to make CGI or add any special visual effect, but rather he had props and camera angles to create the suspense and horror of his movies. Instead of showing anything that might seem "scary" he added that extra element of surprise. He didn't give away the story until the very end. He was able to make a movie scary without even showing something scary. He was indeed a pioneer and a real artist.

Steven Spielberg has also given us original storylines, characters, and imagination. His movies are very creative and have a lot of work put into them. Like Hitchcock, when he was beginning, he didn't have too many visuals effects to use. He did have a lot more than Hitchcock but not as much as we have today. He also made actual props and built the worlds we were indulging in. He indeed was one to come up and bring to life original ideas that have stuck around for years. He older movies are now classics and are seen as a piece of fantastic art.

George Lucas has made an empire without intending to. He also came up with original movies and storylines that has brought him to become one of the greatest directors today. He too didn't have too many visual effects at hand and made actual villages and characters, such as aliens and creatures from scratch, and made it something extraordinary. His original ideas and work ethic make him one the greats. He made a way for future directos who had different ideas than normal. He made others believe that anyone could make it and present their story that may be out of this world.

Quentin Tarantino is a director that has such a weird sense of humor and definitely has major original ideas. His movies range from complete gore and blood to even more gore and blood. Still, the stories are original ones, and each movie he has made always has a message, if you could get past the bucket of blood. He takes his time with his creations and allows the stories to build up before revealing the end. He may have a weird sense of creativity but he is able to present in such a way that everyone will relate and love it.

Ron Howard is definitely an odd one, but his movies have been quite a masterpiece. His stories may sometimes not be the greatest, but his visions are something of beauty. His sight is something that will allow the audience to fully immerse into the movie, storyline, and characters. He knows how to actively keep an audience in the movie and hold them until the end when all secrets are revealed and in the open.

Guillermo del Toro is someone who makes and films some pretty weird stories. His movies are something of a fresh face in the industry. He doesn't follow the rules and paths of some other directors, but instead, he makes his own way and stories. Thankfully, he was born into today's world because the CGI and technology that we have today allow him to entirely prepare his movie into something of a wonder. From giant robots to fish men, he is able to actively bring his characters to life with little ease and connects them to the audience.

Christopher Nolan has darker visions to his movie. He is able to hit the audience's emotions by connecting them to his characters so when they get hurt so does the audience. He likes his dark shots and has a sadder or scarier version to other's ideas but he is able to make and present them with a way that works. Some might find him too dark but what he does, he makes it work.

Overall, there are many great directors with visions and so much potential. This list only involves a handful of those types of great directors. There are many who are paving the way for future concepts and directors who want to make and project their big ideas on the big screen. In today's world, we are trying to move forward and become better than what we were. Starting at Alfred Hitchcock, we have advanced so much technology and stories from then. We now have a crazy amount of advancements that have allowed us to make crazy movies with insane visuals. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas have advanced the industry as well. They have gone further than Hitchcock and have made incredible movies with great stories and visuals. Directors today like Christopher Nolan and Ron Howard have many available technologies at their fingertips. We are thankful that there have been some incredibly talented directors that have been able to connect stories, characters, and actors. It takes a great person with imagination and talent to be able to project a story that audiences could relate to and be able to make an impact. It's pretty cool to see how far we have come and how much we still have to go. This future is a path that will allow us to make even greater discoveries and better entetainment. We'll see how far we have come and it'll be crazy.

Five Family Movies That Will Bring Your Family Closer (Ezine #2)

Going to the movies can take on many roles, some of which are a bit more important to others. While most people might think that a movie being a cultural phenomenon or a movie of a generation might be pretty important, nearly everyone will discount how important family movies can be in general. Depending on who you ask, this may be more of a commentary on how society is changing, but it might just be that family movies are made for only some members of the family. Think about the last time you sat and watched a movie with your spouse and children. Was it animated? Were the parental figures just a bit too out of touch to seem real? Did the CGI overload make it hard to even look at the screen? As time has gone on, what makes for a family movie has really been more about making a movie that keeps a kids attention long enough to give Mom and Dad a breather. Whatever happened to the type of movie that made the family feel closer to each other? You know, the kind of movie that taught an

The Movie Lover's Guide To Current Movies (Ezine #3)

Being a great film can be not only a relaxing and fun experience, but it can just as well be life changing- having a profound effect on the way we think about and communicate with the world around us. For this reason, it is not wonder that the movie making business is still going strong and because of this, many movies come out each month. With all these new movies coming out, who can keep up? Here is the movie lover's guide to current movies. Ready Player One Based on a book authored by Earnest Cline, Ready Player One is similar to the storyline of the Matrix, yet different enough to warrant its own attention. Taking place in a dystopian future, the movie finds the year 2045 filled with chaos and economic collapse. As a way to escape, the populace finds solace in a virtual reality world known as The Oasis created by an eccentric genius. When he dies, he promises to pass on his fortune to the one who can find his "digital easter egg" that he has hidden creating

Edward Norton vs. Mark Ruffalo: The Hulk

Our superheroes have grown and become big names from Iron Man to Thor. Every superhero, who has a movie or is a supporting character, is known in the superhero universe. One age-old question within that universe involves the Incredible Hulk. This character's transformation has been an interesting one, to say nonetheless. We will be looking back and comparing the different Hulks. Edward Norton did a decent job at portraying the Hulk. This character isn't the easiest to play and does involve a lot of work. He definitely tried, but the storyline and character development didn't play in his favor. The timing of when the movie was released is also a playing a factor. This movie came out before the Marvel universe actually became a phenomenon. That didn't allow the studio and surrounding storylines to further his development. This movie was not a part of the growing universe but rather another superhero movie. Mark Ruffalo had a lot more background and information to work
